Arizona Governor to Address Local Rotary Club

Gold Canyon AZ-Members of the Apache Junction Chamber of Commerce and the Gold Canyon Business Association are invited to attend the addresses to be held in the dining room of the Gold Canyon Golf Resort on King’s Ranch Rd. in Gold Canyon on Wed. March 3.  The speakers will be presenting to the Superstition Mountain Rotary Club at its weekly meeting on the following dates.  Lunch is available for $12.00 at the meeting. Jan Brewer became the 22 Governor of the State of Arizona on January 21, 2009.  She is the fifth Secretary of State to succeed to the Governor’s office.  Governor Brewer has lived in Arizona for 39 years and has spent the past 27 years in public service.  Prior to her succession to the governorship, she served as Arizona Secretary of State, as a Maricopa County Supervisor, and as a highly respected member of both houses of the legislature where she rose to the leadership of the AZ Senate.
